The Polish government and head of state today dragged former Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić into their conflicts and verbal wars like a hot potato, and both sides are distancing themselves after the electoral victory of the Students’ List in the Serbian elections, insisting that Vučić was never “theirs.”
“Venezuela, Brazil, Serbia. It seems that today is a day of mourning for the pathological right,” commented Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski on the results of the elections in Serbia on the X network.
The adviser to the Polish president, Marcin Przydacz, immediately responded to Sikorski, pointing out that Vučić’s Serbian Progressive Party is a member of the European People’s Party, which also includes the Civic Coalition of Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the Polish People’s Party of Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, the Polish Christian Democrats who are a coalition partner in Tusk’s government.
“In a word, the political allies of D. Tusk and V. Kosiniak-Kamysz have been defeated,” stated Przydacz, as he wrote to “political manipulators and ordinary fraudsters.”
