Vice President of the Freedom and Justice Party (SSP) Marinika Tepić presented a document which, according to her, demonstrates the way the „Vučić brothers’ cartel“ controls the media landscape in Serbia.
At a press conference in the National Assembly of Serbia, she stated that the material in question „points to propaganda activities and preparations“ for the Serbian Progressive Party’s rally in Belgrade on Saturday, as well as to the „coordinated direction of media content from a single center.“
„Have no doubt that risky and politically sensitive topics, such as the sound cannon and the collapse of the canopy, are managed in the same way, because this is the result of the psychopathology of the eternal Minister of Information, Aleksandar Vučić,“ Tepić said, as reported by the Freedom and Justice Party.
She assessed that the document, which contains an editorial plan and content structure, „shows patterns that resemble editorial planning, but raises the question of why an editorial office would have a political party’s plan.“
„This is how all other topics are managed, this is how the spin dictator runs this country, and that is why the media are not only a tool for maintaining his own ratings, but also a club for disciplining disobedient journalists or professional journalists, students, citizens, the opposition, and all critics of the government,“ the SSP vice president stated.
