Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated today that Russia is increasingly using ballistic missiles for attacks and called on government officials to begin discussions on the implementation of already agreed-upon aid programs.
Zelensky said on social media that he had called on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other government officials to quickly begin talks with Ukraine’s partners to ensure the implementation of already agreed-upon aid programs, following Russian attacks on Kyiv during the previous night.
„It is important to accelerate all processes, both with our European partners and with the United States of America,“ he added.
The Ukrainian president emphasized that Russia carried out one of its largest ever attacks on Kyiv during the previous night, using ballistic missiles.
Zelensky added that the Russians had been preparing this attack for several days and had stockpiled missiles.
„Russia is increasingly using ballistic missiles, and it is precisely because of them that (Russian President Vladimir) Putin still believes in this war,“ the Ukrainian president added.
