The European Union (EU) Ambassador to Ukraine, Katarina Maternova, stated that all embassies of EU member states will continue to operate in Kyiv despite Russian threats, Ukrainska Pravda reported today.
On Saturday, Russia again called on diplomats and foreign nationals in Kyiv to leave the city, warning that its forces would continue to carry out “mass retaliatory strikes” on the Ukrainian capital.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is visiting Kyiv today.
