President of the United States Donald Trump will hold meetings today in Washington with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to Reuters, the meetings will take place at a time when conflicts related to Iran and Ukraine are at a critical stage, while Trump’s relationships with the two officials differ significantly.
Relations with Zelensky have warmed after Ukraine halted Russian advances, while Netanyahu arrives amid growing White House dissatisfaction over the lack of progress toward a comprehensive solution to the conflict with Iran.
Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet for the first time since the two countries began their war against Iran.
Zelensky and Netanyahu are in Washington to attend a commemoration for Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, one of Trump’s closest associates.
