The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced that due to the escalation of conflict in Yemen since the beginning of September, at least 125,000 people have been displaced, while the number of civilian casualties continues to rise.

Government forces, with the support of Saudi Arabia, are trying to halt the Houthi advance, and Saudi Arabia has responded with airstrikes.
This has effectively reopened a major front that had been relatively calm for years.
