Emergency restrictions on electricity supply were introduced this evening in parts of Kyiv and the Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Zhytomyr regions following Russian airstrikes, the Ukrainian utility company Ukrenergo announced on social media.
The restrictions were imposed due to equipment overload after the bombing, Ukrenergo stated, adding that teams are working to repair the damage and restore power supply as quickly as possible.
The limitations will be lifted as soon as the situation in the power grid stabilizes, Ukrenergo said, urging residents who still have electricity to limit their consumption.
