One person was injured in a Russian drone attack on Kyiv, with nearly 300 drones launched at Ukraine overnight.
Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight with a total of 295 drones of various types, the Ukrainian Air Force reported.
Ukrainian air defense destroyed or disrupted 267 drones.
“Hits were recorded at 16 locations, while downed drones or their debris fell at four locations,” they added, as reported by Ukrainska Pravda.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that one person was injured in the Russian drone attack on Kyiv, when debris from a downed drone fell on a 25-story residential building in the Solomianskyi district.
The drones were launched from the Russian cities of Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo, as well as from the occupied cities of Donetsk and Khvardivske.
The attack is ongoing this morning, and several Russian drones are still in Ukrainian airspace.
