Around 3,000 People Reported Missing After Floods in Nepal

Around 3,000 people are missing and 626 have died in flash floods in Nepal and Tibet, according to the British newspaper The Guardian.

More than 3,700 people in Nepal have been rescued, and about 93,000 people have been affected by the natural disaster, according to data from the Red Cross.

At least 777 foreigners are reported missing, with Nepal’s emergency services today reporting 517 foreigners currently listed as missing—who may include tourists and foreign workers—while Chinese officials estimate the number of missing foreigners at 260, The Guardian reports.
