EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas announced today, ahead of the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels, that an additional 250 individuals and entities will be included in the sanctions regime against Russia.
She stated on the social network X that the decision will be made with the 21st package of sanctions.

„This is our largest round of individual sanctions since the Russian invasion in 2022, and it also includes the largest EU cyber sanctions package to date,“ Kallas wrote in her post.
She added that the main target of the new sanctions is the financial backbone of Russia’s military capabilities.
