RIK proclaims the electoral list ‘European Serbia – Marinika Tepić – Zdravko Ponoš’

The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) today proclaimed the electoral list “EUROPEAN SERBIA – MARINIKA TEPIĆ – ZDRAVKO PONOŠ” for participation in the extraordinary parliamentary elections scheduled for October 25.

The decision to proclaim the list was made at today’s session of the Republic Electoral Commission, after the election documentation was previously submitted to RIK.

The coalition “European Serbia” consists of the Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP), Serbia Center (SRCE), and Solidarity, with Marinika Tepić and Zdravko Ponoš as the lead candidates on the electoral list.

List submitted to RIK on Saturday

Representatives of “European Serbia” submitted the electoral list and citizens’ signatures of support to the Republic Electoral Commission on Saturday, September 19.

After submitting the list, Marinika Tepić, Zdravko Ponoš, and Goran Ješić addressed the public.

The coalition has highlighted as one of its key political commitments the continuation and acceleration of Serbia’s European integration, along with the establishment of the rule of law, an independent judiciary, free media, and professional institutions.

When submitting the list, Tepić stated that the coalition is running in the elections with the policy of a European Serbia, while Ponoš assessed that a political actor is needed who unequivocally advocates for the continuation of the country’s European path.

Campaign already underway

After submitting the list, the coalition also began presenting its political program to citizens.

Among the topics presented so far are the fight against corruption, rule of law, European integration, the economy, and foreign policy.

During the collection of signatures, activities were also organized in Kragujevac, where SNM recorded a large turnout of citizens. Signatures were collected on September 12 on King Alexander I Karađorđević Street.

With the proclamation of the list by RIK, the process of its candidacy has been completed, making “European Serbia – Marinika Tepić – Zdravko Ponoš” formally one of the electoral lists that will participate in the parliamentary elections on October 25.
