Đurić with the Ohio National Guard delegation: Two decades of successful partnership between Serbia and the USA

Recalling two decades of cooperation between the armed forces within the State Partnership Program established in 2006, Đurić also emphasized the historic alliance between the two peoples. He announced that this Saturday, with the presence of the Ohio delegation, the 82nd anniversary of Operation ‘Air Bridge’ (Halyard Mission) will be marked.

The head of Serbian diplomacy particularly highlighted the significance of establishing the Strategic Dialogue between Serbia and the USA, thereby raising bilateral relations for the first time to the level of a strategic partnership. During the meeting, Đurić thanked the USA for its engagement in the KFOR mission in Kosovo and Metohija and welcomed the USA’s participation in the specialized Expo 2027 exhibition in Belgrade, stating that Serbia remains firmly committed to further deepening relations in all areas of mutual interest.
