Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated today that 14 people were killed and 44 injured in Russian attacks during the previous night in the greater Kyiv area.
Zelensky wrote on social media that among the affected sites were a brewery, a building materials warehouse, and civilian logistics platforms.
„These are facilities that have nothing to do with the war,“ he wrote on Telegram.
The Ukrainian president, who believes that interceptors are capable of neutralizing ballistic missiles, is calling on Ukraine’s allies to speed up deliveries of air defense systems.
Zelensky called on G7 countries and the European Union to strengthen sanctions against the Russian ballistic missile production industry, which he considers insufficiently targeted.
After the Russian attacks, Kyiv city authorities recommended that residents close their windows due to a temporary deterioration in air quality caused by fires following the attacks.
